Coronation Street spoilers: Rob Mallard reveals how Daniel Osbourne will cope with Sinead Tinker cancer tragedy
Everything was going so well for Coronation Street lovebirds Daniel Osbourne and Sinead Tinker – they had set up a business venture, they are expecting a baby and now theyre about to be married. Daniel couldnt be happier but Sinead is hiding the shattering secret that she could be diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Speaking about Daniels plans for a surprise wedding, actor Rob Mallard shared: Its been such a rocky way for them to get together in the first place, he sees it as do it while you can because you dont know what else might happen. Sineads not very conventional so it seems to make more sense to do it as a surprise rather than do it in a traditional, conventional sense.
Hes applying to go off and do an MA too so everythings going really well, too well almost. A lot of bad things have happened, when him and Sinead got back together everything went rosy again. Hes love blind so everything just seems like its going great for him and he doesnt notice anything else thats going on.

But Sinead could soon be set to get the worst news and, if it is cancer, she would have to contemplate whether to terminate the pregnancy so that she can undergo treatment. So how would Daniel cope with such a horrible blow?
Rob sighed: I think hell start to regress massively. Sinead makes the world seem softer so that Daniel can come out and enjoy it rather than think everythings a threat. Daniel has a tendency to close ranks and is used to being by himself.
Hed also feel betrayed. She kept a secret last time and they promised this time they wouldnt have any secrets from each other…
And this secret could be the one that tears them apart from ever – especially if Sinead were to lose the fight she has ahead.
