An overzealous Maroon 5 fan has been arrested after rushing the stage at the bands recent concert.
Adam Levine and co were performing at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Thursday night, when the woman stormed the stage in a bid to get up close and personal with her idol.
Footage posted online shows the moment a fan started dancing enthusiastically in front of the band after managing to climb onto the stage.
Security personal can be seen rushing from the wings and intercepting as she makes a beeline for frontman Adam Levine.
She was quickly escorted off the stage after setting off on pursuit.
His security stopped her and stopped it from happening, a source told E! News. Fans saw the girl outside with three cops after the show. She was not being cooperative with police and officers had to put her in a patrol car.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old, who was not identified, was later arrested for public mischief and released on bail.
Back in 2015, The Voice judge was left with a cut on his ear after another female fan crashed the stage during a gig in California. Although he was understandably shaken by the encounter, he handled it brilliantly by giving her a hug before she was escorted offstage by security.
The latest stage invasion follows reports that the group also consisting of Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton and Sam Farrar, will headline the Super Bowl LIII halftime show in 2019. Variety reports that they are set to follow in the footsteps of stars including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Michael Jackson and Beyoncé.
