The lineup is set for this years Inside Pictures, the business training and development programme for international and U.S. film execs. This years lineup comprises:

The scheme, run by the UKs National Film and Television School (NFTS) and backed by the Creative Europe Media Programme and the BFI, comprises three intensive one-week modules, taking place in London and LA. Producer Alison Owen is industry ambassador for the scheme and speakers will include Netflix; CAA; Rebecca Kearey, President, International Marketing and Distribution, Fox Searchlight Pictures; Steve Golin, Founder & CEO, Anonymous Content; Marc Gareton, EVP Digital Distribution, Warner Bros. Charlie Chaplins rags-to-riches story is the subject of a new feature documentary called Chaplin, which is backed by the British Film Institute and Film4. The film will look at the icons impoverished childhood in late-Victorian London, his journey to the Hollywood at the birth of cinema, and, ultimately, his self-imposed exile. Directors are Peter Middleton and James Spinney, who were BAFTA-nominated for their doc Notes On Blindness. Showtime has Chaplin for the U.S. Altitude has it for the UK and Ireland and for international sales.

Sebastian Lelios A Fantastic Woman, recent winner of the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar, last night picked up five awards at the Ibero-American version of the Academy Awards, the Platino Awards. The film won best picture, director, screenplay, editing and actress for Daniela Vega. The fifth edition of the Platino Awards was held in Mexicos Riviera Maya, near the beach resort of Cancun. Actor Eugenio Derbez hosted the ceremony, which honors the best in Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian cinema. Attendees included Edward James Olmos (Stand And Deliver), Rob Schneider, writer-director Lelio (A Fantastic Woman) and actress Vega. Argentine drama Zama by Lucrecia Martel also scooped multiple prizes on the night.
