Hollyoaks Tom Cunningham gets all frank about matters of the heart in tonights episode.
Hes been playing mediator between Peri and Harley, with friction growing between the pair as Harley became jealous of Peri and Toms friendship.
Peri has been leaning more and more on Tom as the girls animosity increases, and Harleys jealousy peaks. She threatens to leave the village believing Tom has feelings for Peri and with the weight of her overwhelming school work on her shoulders.
Peri asks Tom to help calm her friend and convince her to stay in school, and he has words with her where he discovers she never learned to read or write.
He offers to help and suggests she joins Stephs tutoring classes.
But later Tom comes clean to Jack about his real reasons for wanting Harley to stay around – its her he fancies, not Peri. Could we have a beautiful new romance on our hands?
