BAFTA has set the dates for its next EE British Academy Film Awards and their LA-based cousins, the British Academy Britannia Awards. The BAFTAs will be held in London on Sunday February 10, 2019 honoring the best work of any nationality seen on British cinema screens. The Britannias will be handed out at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Friday October 26, 2018. That ceremony is BAFTAs most prestigious event outside the UK, where Brits and anglophiles celebrate exceptional members of the international creative community who have dedicated their careers to advancing the art forms of the moving image. The honors recognize outstanding British talent and exceptional international talent by virtue of their strong connection to the British industry through their body of work.
