Canberra jockey John Kissick could be back in the saddle in July

"You'd say back by spring this year he should be back race riding, once he gets his fitness up and a few barrier trials under his belt."

Cleary has six runners at Queanbeyan on Monday, with Not Bossy his best. The four-year-old mare will run in the benchmark 55 handicap (2000 metres).

He felt the daughter of Street Boss would be the favourite and thought she could go on to contest the country cups.

Cleary was looking forward to her getting out to 2000m this run, coming off the back of her win at the Sapphire Coast in a class 1 and maiden plate (1600m).

"She's a really nice mare and will progress through her grades really quickly," he said.

"I'm looking forward to her getting up to the 2000m and she might furnish into a nice country cups horse next year."

Cleary also has Constitutional in the three-year-old maiden plate (900m), Dundalk in the four-year-old and up maiden handicap (900m), Uncle Gerry in the benchmark 55 handicap (1460m), Mossy Girl in the class 1 and maiden plate (1600m) and Creative Vision in the benchmark 55 handicap (1000m).

He thought a couple of those were "nice chances".

"Definitely Creative Vision, he's a really nice chance, I got him off the Hawkes family," Cleary said.

"He's been a really good pickup and I'm looking forward to seeing him go around, and I've got a maiden in called Dundalk, who's in race two … and he just seems to be coming up really good."
