Sally Metcalfe is set to be left fuming with Carla Connor as the pair end up at loggerheads in Coronation Street. With Sally taking pride in her house as it goes up for sale ahead of her move with Tim, Carla and Michelle decide to play a prank.
Sally cleans the house so that it is immaculate and she boasts about having four viewings. She is particularly excited about Carla coming to look around but Carla and Michelle have no intention of buying and can’t keep straight faces as Sally snootily gives them a guided tour.
Tim overhears Michelle and Carla laughing about their joke in the Rovers and is disheartened on behalf of his wife and, stung by what Carla and Michelle have done, Sally is fuming.
When Carla decides that she actually is interested in buying the house, she asks for a second viewing but convinced that Carla is taking her for a ride, Sally refuses.
Can Carla smooth things over with Sally? Whatever happens between the pair, Tim soon agrees with Sally that they can stay as events with Phelan take a fresh turn.
But Tim can’t believe his bad luck when Sally makes the executive decision that the house is going to need a makeover.
