Lachlan White’s days could be numbered as a memory has returned to Rebecca in Emmerdale – and she is determined to expose the truth about what he has done. When Rebecca came out of her coma, she was faced with the horrifying reality that two members if her immediate family were dead.
As Lachlan stood by nervously, he was relieved to hear that she didn’t remember the crash and he instructed Robert Sugden not to press her for details on what she recalls so as not to upset her. Lachlan explained to Rebecca that Chrissie lost control of the car but viewers know different – Lachlan actually grabbed the wheel and directed the car into the path of the lorry.
However, after an unsettled dream while she slept, Rebecca later woke up again and became suddenly very frightened of Rebecca. She told him that she remembered what he had done and he pointedly said to her that her memory was false and she wasn’t thinking straight.
As she wriggled free of his grasp, Rebecca warned Lachlan that she was going to tell everyone about what he had done – is this the end of the road for the killer teen? Or can he wriggle out of trouble?
What exactly is the memory that has come back to Rebecca and can Lachlan persuade her of a different story before someone arrives, having been alerted to her shouting?
And when Rebecca then discharges herself to head to Home Farm, will any more memories be triggered which will make things any clearer?
