Naughty Boy has revealed his collaboration with Cheryl is almost finished, and that it’s one he can’t wait for fans to hear.
The producer has been working with the singer on her comeback album, and confessed that he and Cheryl are heading back into the studio today to finish the track off.
He’s also called the song ‘great’ and one fans won’t be able to wait to get their lugholes around.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly, he said: ‘[She’s a] Lovely girl, we worked together before but it was with will.i.am and we didn’t meet. We met recently and we wrote a song, a great song for her album and I’m really happy with it.’
He added: ‘We’re finishing it later today actually.’
When addressing her much anticipated comeback, he said the mum of one is ‘in a good place’.
Naughty Boy told Lorraine: ‘I feel like she’s her own entity, think of the success she’s had. She’s in a good place, I feel she can come back and people are wanting to hear ‘Oh what is Cheryl going to do next?”

Naughty Boy is also on the search for the next new music star, and is hoping to find someone who’s not your typical X Factor contestant.
‘I feel there’s still someone out there who’s not ready to apply ofor A TV show. That’s what I’m ready to hear,’ he said. ‘From meeting Emeli Sande and Sam Smith you understand what real talent is, and it’s not chasing anything, it’s an innate desire for your music to live.’
His new track is called Bungee Jumping and features Emeli Sande, who helped him write the piece.
‘It’s about taking risks in love and a relationship,’ he said. ‘If you’re bungee jumping it’s healthy, it’s about trust.’
