‘If Paul from S Club can do it!’: 5ive’s Abz Love is trying to flog his Brit Award after £1 million prank

He’s had his ups and down recently, most notably separating from his fiancee of eight years after discovering she had a profile on an adult escort website.
But it looks as though Abz Love has a plan to change his fortunes, and is hoping to flog his Brit Award from his days in 5ive in order to help him achieve his dream of owning a desert island.
The 38-year-old former pop star has previously tried to flog it in 2015, but a prankster derailed his dreams by scuppering a £1 million bid.
However, it looks as though S Club 7’s Paul Cattermole has inspired Abz to have another go at the online auction route.
He told The Sun: ‘I thought ‘Jesus, if Paul from S Club 7 is getting £60,000 then I could get that too. I want an island life and to get out of Hackney, where I’m living at the moment.’

He added: ‘I have a lot of happy memories of winning the awards, but I don’t need them anymore. It’s buy one get one free as get as the winning bidder gets a free MTV award too.’
Could that be classed as a bargain?

Abz first shot to fame back in 90s as a member of boyband 5ive, but after a few short years the band called it a day for the first time in 2001.
Since then Abz has gone on to carve himself something of a career in reality TV, having starred in the likes of The Big Reunion, CBB, and his own show, Abz On The Farm.
Abz endured a difficult and very public split with his long-term partner Vicky Fallon last year after he discovered ‘the love of his life’ had a profile on AdultWork.com, after he used her phone’s SatNav and saw an app for Sugar Daddies.
