EastEnders star Jake Wood has promised Metro.co.uk that the soap is going to have a Christmas to remember – and with Max Branning in a fragile and edgy state of mind, he is set to prove extremely dangerous and the consequences will be catastrophic.
Metro.co.uk joined the EastEnders team for a special screening of the big episode and while we are sworn to secrecy, we can promise you that it is not to be missed. We sat down with Jake to chat about the huge Branning centric storyline and he had nothing but praise for everyone who worked on it – not least of all ‘legendary’ writer Simon Ashdown, who penned it.
He added that he was excited for fans to finally see the episodes that are the result of a long running storyline which has finally see Max experience a dramatic downfall. Admitting that Max is at the lowest point we have ever seen him, Jake warned that he has nothing else to live for – and nothing to lose which is what makes him especially dangerous.
With his revenge still at the forefront of his mind, Christmas is set to be action packed – and Max’s actions will continue to send shockwaves through the community as EastEnders ramps up the drama big style.
