Mick Carter is losing hope in EastEnders tonight – but there is still time for him to save the Queen Vic before that dreaded deadline arrives and the beloved pub is lost to the family forever. Mick has been trying everything to raise the money to pay off Fi Browning and keep the Vic but with the heist cash still missing and no nearer to being found, he has been forced to tell Linda that they will have to leave for Watford.

However, when Mick spotted an extremely expensive looking ring left on a table by Halfway, his mind started whirring. Fans know that there was jewellery stolen as part of that job and while they wonder whether Halfway himself has the loot, Mick is contemplating whether to steal that ring and sell it to raise the funds.

Halfway did shoot Mick so technically, he owes him more than a few favours – especially as the Carters have taken him in and given him a home and a job. So will Mick ask Halfway if he can have the ring – or might he even steal it?

It’s obvious that the ring is valuable – but is it £150k valuable? And could Mick even find a seller before 1pm when the deadline arrives? It remains to be seen whether Mick will nab the ring and get the money he needs or whether his conscience will get the better of him and lead him to hand the jewellery back to his lodger but fans are hoping that a miracle will come and allow the family to stay behind that bar.

It’s officially the last of Mick’s last chances – and the outcome will be revealed tonight. You can do it, Mick!

EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday 25th January at 7:30pm on BBC One.
