Trump also admitted he sent many of the messages himself – sometimes even writing them from the White House bed.
In an interview with Piers Morgan, he said: ‘I do (send my own tweets). I also give (my phone) to people..
He named aide Dan Scavino as one staffer allowed to Tweet on his behalf – and agreed that the world ‘waits for me to wake up’ to read his latest thoughts.
Trump explained: ‘Perhaps sometimes (I send them) in bed, perhaps sometimes at breakfast, lunch – whatever.
‘Generally speaking, during the early morning, evening, I can do that.
‘Sometimes I will just dictate out something really quickly and give it to one of my people to put out.’
