Kym Marshs character Michelle Connor is not having an easy time on Coronation Street at the moment and things are about to get a whole lot worse.
Soap bosses have confirmed that Michelle will soon discover the shocking truth about Robert Prestons (Tristan Gemmill) double life – but how will she react to the revelation that he has been cheating on her with Vicky Jeffries (Kerri Quinn).
Corrie will air the scenes when Michelle discovers Roberts betrayal in the winter, but does the revelation mean that Kyms character could soon be making a hasty retreat from the Cobbles?

Sadly for Kym Marsh and Michelle Connor fans, the actress is indeed leaving the soap.
The star revealed earlier this year that she would be bidding goodbye to Weatherfield – if only for the time being – to take a well-earned break from the ITV show.

Its been an incredibly difficult decision but it feels like the right time for me to explore some other roles.
While those other opportunities that she will be pursuing definitely wont include an appearance on Strictly or in the Im A Celebrity jungle for now, Kym will be appearing in stage show Elf: A Christmas Spectacular this winter as well as co-hosting a new BBC factual TV series called For Love Or Money with BBC News reporter Ashley John Baptiste.
