Mel B has admitted that she kept her relationship with Peter Andre a secret from even her Spice Girls bandmates back in the 90s.
They [the girls] didnt know until years later when he wrote it in his autobiography, Mel explained.
They were like: “Are you kidding me?! Peter Andre was on tour with us?!”
The star opened up about her ex-boyfriend at her A Brutally Honest Evening With Mel B show at the Savoy Theatre in London last night.
Back in the day, it was a thing – boy bands and girl bands were never to be seen with boyfriends or girlfriends, she said.
Which I can understand because you want to be appealing to your audience. Now its more acceptable, but back then it wasnt.

Hes a very lovely guy, she continued. We came up in the pop industry in the 90s at the same time.
Peters past songs include Mysterious Girl and Flava. Meanwhile, Mel – along with bandmates Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, Victoria Beckham and Geri Horner – had hits the same decade with the likes of Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life.
The girls reformed this year for a blockbuster tour of the UK minus Victoria.
