British actress Lashana Lynch is set to be part of a popcorn-dropping moment when she makes her appearance in the next James Bond film alongside Daniel Craig.
According to reports the actress will be introduced to audiences as 007 at the start of the film following Phoebe Waller-Bridges rewrite of the blockbusters script.
An insider has claimed that at the start of the film Bond – who retired at the end of Spectre – will return to MI6 and will be introduced to 007 – only for Lashanas character to walk in.
Its a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but hes been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman, a source told the Daily Mail.
Its also set to be a star-making role for Lashana, whos already familiar to Marvel fans, and is no stranger to the big screen.

How old is Lashana Lynch and what else has she been in?
Lashana is 31 years old and is from Hammersmith in West London.
She made her acting debut in an episode of The Bill in 2007, but her movie debut came in the 2011 drama Fast Girls, about two female sprinters aiming for the World Championships – which also starred Lily James, Lenora Crichlow and Noel Clarke.
Her early roles also include Brotherhood, Crims, The 7.39 and Atlantis, while more recently shes been in the US TV drama Still Star-Crossed, which takes place after the deaths of Romeo and Juliet and sees her playing Juliets cousin Rosaline.
You might also have spotted her in Sky Ones Bulletproof, which reunited her with Clarke.
