Its most definitely been Billie Eilishs year, with her debut album going to number one in the UK and the US, Bad Guy taking over the airwaves, and the teen smashing Glastonbury.
And now she has the actual Elton John singing her praises.
Elton, 72, has called Billie one of the most talented young ladies Ive ever heard as he revealed what new artists he is listening to.
Speaking to Complexs Pigeons and Planes, Elton said he was a big fan of Khalid, Collard, Loyle Carner, Dave, Slowthai, Little Simz, Ray BLK and MoStack – yep, Elton has his finger on the pulse – before singing Billies praises.
He said of the 17-year-old: She is one for the most talented young ladies Ive ever heard. Her album was amazing. Shes come a long way very quickly. Shes an incredible word of mouth artist. All the tracks weve played have been so different, and thats what I love about her. Theres is no box to put you in.

There are no rules. I cant wait to see her live because she has something very special going on. Talent like hers doesnt come along very often.
Elton, who famously teamed up with Eminem and is featured on Tupacs Ghetto Gospel, also talked about his love for hip-hop, after Complex noted that a lot of other artists disregard the genre.
The Tiny Dancer singer said: Weve seen time and time again that reluctance from the establishment to embrace the new when something fresh comes along and threatens the status quo. And thats what hip-hop did. It took the power and the control out of the hands of the old guard and gave it to kids on the street.
It completely tore up the rule book, and thank God it did. It was so thrilling. Thats what new music should do, shake things up and confuse or scare the regime.
Billie made her Glastonbury debut on Sunday on the Other Stage for one of the most exciting performances of the day, but was left frustrated due to technical difficulties.
