Susanna Reid flexes her acting chops in Four Weddings Red Nose Day special

Susanna Reid will add another string to her bow as she flexes her acting chops in the Red Nose Day Four Weddings special.

We didnt know she caught the acting bug!

The Good Morning Britain host was seen in the background of several shots posted to social media by scriptwriter Emma Freud, showing the presenter may have a cameo in the sequel to Four Weddings, made all in the name of Red Nose Day.

Richard Curtis – the writer behind the original film and the co-founder of Red Nose Day – has penned a short film called One Red Nose Day And A Wedding, which will pick up 25 years after the movie.

Hugh Grant, Andie MacDowell, Kristin Scott Thomas, John Hannah, Rowan Atkinson, James Fleet, David Haig, Sophie Thompson, David Bower, Robin McCaffrey, Anna Chancellor, Rupert Vansittart, Simon Kunz, Sara Crowe and Timothy Walker will all be reuniting for the new installment; which will be directed by Four Weddings director Mike Newell.

And, evidently with Susanna on board.

In one photo posted to Twitter along with many, many others from the set, Susanna stands with a cake – seemingly at a wedding reception, which seems pretty fitting due to the content – as Emma wrote: Photobombing the extra.

Richard is seen in the background pointing to Susanna, who looks ecstatic to be part of the project. He looks less so. But hes a comedy producer, so remember the context.

In another shot posted to by Freud – who this week dished on secrets from the Love Actually set, of which she also worked on with Richard – Susanna was seen filming a scene pictured on a studio monitor.

Emma wrote: Extras behaving badly, as Susannas facial expression hinted she was filming quite an awkward scene.

Then because evidently Susanna is one of the bigger extras roped into the reunion, she was in another shot with actor Rupert.

And she ruddy loved it.

Honestly, she looks like shes having a wow of a time. And she was, as she took to social media to shout about the cameo, not really giving much away about her role and how much shell be in the second coming.

She wrote on Twitter: Today I got to be in an actual Richard Curtis film. Well, photograph at least.

This Four Weddings sequel comes after the success of Red Nose Day Actually, the Love Actually sequel that aired last year.

One Red Nose Day And A Wedding will air during Red Nose Day on 15 March 2019.
