Coronation Street spoilers: Audrey Roberts and Maria Connor finally bury the hatchet and unite against Claudia
Audrey and Maria look set to rekindle their friendship in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
Claudia winds Audrey up about the hairdressing awards ceremony that afternoon and takes things one step further when she reveals shes nominated the coiffeuse for the lifetime achievement award.
Dreading having to go onstage, Audrey opts for dutch courage and ends up knocking back a fair few wines.
A wee bit on the tipsy side, Audrey takes to the stage to accept the award. With lowered inhibitions thanks to the booze, she takes a moment to pour her heart out in an impassioned speech, telling Maria shes like a daughter to her and wishing her every success for the future.
Audrey then confesses to David she resents Claudia for coming between her and Maria.
At the same time, Maria admits to Emma that she made a terrible mistake in leaving the salon.

In unexpected circumstances, the two women suddenly find themselves drawn back together as a video of Audrey making her over-the-top, drunken speech goes viral. Maria visits Audrey with a proposition to get back at Claudia.
As Maria reveals her plan to Claudia, its Claudia who drops a bombshell and Rita is caught in the crossfire.
