While Whoopi tends to prefer a relaxed trouser, for the Oscars she decided to go full-on glam, in a full-skirted floral gown designed by Christian Siriano.
But this is not just any red carpet gown. Nope, Whoopi Goldberg would not ditch her comfortable sweatpants and trainers for your standard dress.
On the red carpet Whoopi revealed that Christian went to extra lengths to ensure her dress would be incredible comfortable, with a roomy skirt and a bodice that doesn’t prevent breathing.
But most importantly, this dress has pockets, which, as any woman will know, is a very big deal indeed.
To add even more comfort points, Whoopi paired her dress not with the pointy heels every other celeb wore for the red carpet, but with combat boots.

Rightly, she didn’t have any shame in that decision, even hiking up her dress to show anyone who asked her comfy footwear.
Whoopi further accessorised her look with sunglasses and a red ribbon in support of the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation.
