skynews– Yorkshire Cricket Club’s chairman and two other board members have resigned after criticisms emerged over the organisation’s handling of racism allegations made by a former player.
Many of the club’s big sponsors have already withdrawn their support and its Headingley ground has been stripped of the right to host international matches.
Chairman Roger Hutton announced his resignation earlier, with Hanif Malik and Stephen Willis also stepping down from the board.
The club has released a statement saying they would do whatever it took to regain the trust of the stakeholders.
