Spanx’s New Breathable Loungewear Is So Soft, I Feel Like I’m Wearing a Fluffy Cloud

instyle– Fall is by far my favorite season for numerous reasons, but getting to wear cozy fits sits high up on the list. There’s nothing quite like cocooning into bed with an ultra-soft sweatsuit, especially when temperatures continue to dip outside my window. After living on the East Coast all my life, I’ve built up quite a collection of loungewear over the years — but once I tried Spanx’s new cloud-like pullovers and sweatpants, I immediately only had eyes for one.

The Spanx Airluxe Collection features four pieces made from incredibly breathable, lightweight, and silky-soft spacer fabric (a highly cushioned material). Practically the distant cousin of silk pajamas, the set feels like velvet against my skin, and only continues to soften with every wash. Even better, the sleek design of the AirLuxe ‘At the Hip’ Pullover and AirLuxe Tapered Pant (my two favorites from the drop) look flattering enough to wear outside of the house, and come winter, the high-neck design on the pullover will easily keep the elements at bay.

Made from what the brand describes as “light-as-air fabric,” each item offers optimal airflow and circulation, so you’ll stay warm and snug without breaking a sweat throughout wear. Though I tend to run hot, I can comfortably sleep in the moisture-wicking material without ever needing to pull it off in the middle of the night, unlike other loungewear pieces in my wardrobe.

For those who adore the flare style of yoga pants, the AirLuxe Wide Leg Pant is a worthy option and comes in petite, regular, and tall lengths.  Equipped with the Spanx “butt-lifting” design the brand is known for, the pants feature a contoured back that offers a sculpting, complimentary fit. Alongside this second pant option, the ‘Got Ya Covered’ Pullover is a perfect alternative to the cropped version of the top for those who seek more coverage — it reaches past your front and your butt, and pairs well with leggings (such as this faux suede pair from the brand that sold out in less than a month after launch.)

Each piece in the AirLuxe Collection is available in sizes XS through 3X in black and navy colors. While the pricing may range higher than your typical loungewear, I promise once you get your hands on this ultra-soft material, you’ll never want to take it off. But hurry — stock is going fast.
