skynews– Owners of hospitality businesses in the United Kingdom have reacted angrily after the government decided to not make their staff exempt from isolation rules.
Farm workers are just one of the categories not included in the government’s exemption for the food industry.
With supermarket and retail staff not included, as well as some manufacturers, problems in the supply chain may arise.
Business groups are warning it is inevitable sectors left out will have to be included before the self-isolation rules are lifted altogether on August 16.
