Katy Perry Gave a Rare Update About Her Daughter Daisy Dove

instyle– It’s hard to believe that it’s already been nine months since Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child together, Daisy Dove. Within the past year, the couple’s baby girl has grown up so fast, and has even reached two major milestones in the short span of time — according to her mom.

During an appearance on On-Air with Ryan Seacrest, Perry gave a rare update about her daughter, and it appears as if the little one is progressing rather quickly. “She’s crawling and she has one tooth,” Katy said, before clarifying: “It’s barely poked through, though.”

“Actually, it’s kind of, like, one of my teeth,” she continued. “Because I have pretty good teeth on the top, but if you were to actually see my bottom teeth, they’re a little interesting. But I think that’s character.”

That’s not the only big change Daisy’s parents have observed since her arrival. Back in February, Bloom revealed that Daisy “has said a bit of ‘Dada.'” “Now I sing anything that has ‘Daddy’ in it,” Orlando previously said while on the Graham Norton Show. “I’m like just because I want her to say ‘Dad’ before she says anything else.”

Earlier this month, Katy celebrated her first Mother’s Day with a sweet message about motherhood on Twitter. “I found everything i was ever searching for when I became a mother. So grateful for that profound, deep love and honored to join the mama club,” she wrote. “Happiest Mother’s Day.”

Last month, the singer elaborated on the unconditional love of having a child during an Instagram Live with Bloom’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr. “There was no feeling like the feeling when I had my daughter. That was like all the love I was ever searching for what like ‘Bam,'” she said. “The love from your children is constant and unconditional and isn’t based on what you have, what you don’t have, what career, what product and that’s definitely made me feel so full to know that there’s this unwavering and unconditional love.”
