skynews– Cyprus College’s Peter Mathews says Donald Trump is still the most popular of all Republican candidates as he prepares to make his first public appearance. The former president is set to make his first appearance since leaving office at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). “He’s taken all the air out of the room by being there and in a speech tonight he’s going to say that he’s running for president in 2024 more than likely,” Mr Mathews told Sky News. “And that means other potential candidates don’t have any chance to think of running right now. “CPAC is a very activist organisation. Its endorsement, especially among some of the right wing populist Republicans, is a very big thing.”
