Berejiklian announces ‘modest’ changes for Christmas, 10-person limit remains

skynews– From Christmas Eve to Boxing Day, Greater Sydney residents will have to maintain the 10-person limit in households however children below the age of 12 will not be counted, as the state again records eight new cases of COVID-19. From December 27 it will go back to the strict 10-person limit, while regional New South Wales will see no restrictions added. “So on the 24th, 25th and 26th, if you’re in Greater Sydney, you’ll be able to have 10 people in your home, which is what you currently can have, but you can add kids under 12 onto that,” Ms Berejiklian said. “So 10 adults and kids under 12 would be allowed in any single household.” Of the new cases, seven are linked to the Northern Beaches outbreak and one is a close contact of a previous case. Nearly 42,000 tests were conducted.
