Woman left in stitches by awkward online shopping blunder

style nine– A woman has been left in stitches after ordering a jumper online, only to have the item that was delivered look nothing like what she expected.

Neha, from the UK, saw a two-toned sweater on online fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing and decided she had to have it.

n product photos, the oversized sweater looks cosy and cute, perfect for rugging up in the UK winter.

But when her package arrived Neha immediately knew something had gone horribly wrong.

Calling the jumper she received ‘oversized’ would be an understatement, as the arms were so long they dangled well past her knees.

Happy to have a laugh about the mix-up, she shared a video to TikTok comparing her online shopping expectations and reality.

“The arms!” she captioned the clip, which quickly went viral as other shoppers who have faced similar situations found it hilarious.

Neha later shared a second video where she showed off just how huge the jumper was, and how long the sleeves were compared to photos online.

Explaining that she purchased the sweater in her usual size, she urged other shoppers to size down if they planned to buy it themselves.

“I could even do with three sizes down because…” she trailed off, showing off the obscenely long sleeves.

Other TikTok users commented that they had almost bought the jumper, but decided not to after seeing Neha’s video.

Some said that they’d had similar experiences when ordering from PrettyLittleThing and other fast fashion brands.

Of course, this isn’t the first time an online shopper has dealt with an expectations vs reality blunder like this.

A woman who ordered her wedding dress online was furious when it turned up looking nothing like the gown she had wanted.

She took to social media to show off the frumpy dress that had been delivered, only for the boutique she ordered it from to point out that she was wearing the gown inside out.
