Victoria dredges up story of second Sydney quarantine breach in July

skynews– Victorian authorities have confirmed another traveler skipped hotel quarantine in Sydney before flying to Melbourne in July after he arrived from San Francisco. The breach was identified by airline staff on July 14 and the man was placed into hotel quarantine in Melbourne where he tested negative to the virus. Passengers on board the domestic flight were not alerted of the incident with authorities saying it was not the policy to notify potential contacts at the time. New South Wales police have said there are no discrepancies in their records. The report follows a bungle with two German nationals over the weekend.
