Tammy Hembrow to walk first catwalk in ‘risque’ PrettyLittleThing outfit

news– She’s Australia’s highest earning influencer, earning as much as $A53,500 per post.

But while Tammy Hembrow has carved a lucrative career from sharing bikini-clad photos and fitness videos on Instagram (and amassed a following of almost 12 million people in the process), she’s now about to make a big career jump.

The 26-year-old from the Gold Coast is walking in “the world’s most breathtaking runway show” next week – marking her official move from social media star to fully-fledged model.

Taking place at South Australia’s iconic Pink Lake, Lake MacDonnell, to showcase affordable fashion e-tailer PrettyLittleThing’s “#everyBODYinPLT” collection – Tammy is one of 30 “real” women set to strut her stuff in the remote location.

And in true Tammy style, her debut outfit consists of a very skimpy bikini paired with a glistening sheer crop top and pants.

A spokesperson for PLT told news.com.au the mum-of-two would wear a “risque” outfit on November 19.

“The show will celebrate diversity showcasing different sizes and ethnicities, empowering women, no matter their shape, size, ethnicity or status,” the spokesperson said.

Tammy’s seriously skimpy look is in keeping with the brand’s affordable ethos – coming in at a total of $460 for the whole outfit from head to toe.

While the baby pink swimmers retail for $60, the sparkly studded net pants cost $120 and the matching crop is $120.

Her clear strap mules will set shoppers back $68 while the sunnies are a bargain $20.

Joining Tammy will be Victoria’s Secret model Georgia Fowler, Indigenous model Samantha Harris, Bambi Northwood Blyth, Samantha Rayner, Agi Akur and Jess Vander Leahy.

The location for the show is just as exciting as the line-up and chosen in partnership with South Australia Tourism Commission to help bring some-much needed tourism back into the area following a tumultuous 2020.

“This will be huge for our state, not only from a global awareness perspective but also as

we rebuild the local tourism industry following summer bushfires and COVID-19, with the

project set to inject a significant economic boost to the state,” Brent Hill from South Australian Tourism Commission said.

PLT said the “strawberry milkshake hue” of the lake set alongside the “red dirt of Aussie outback” was easily the “world’s most breathtaking runway” and was looking forward to supporting the struggling region.

While walking a catwalk is a first for Tammy, wearing risque outfits definitely isn’t.

Last month the influencer caused a stir over a pair of “naked” gym tights that flaunted her booty and most recently shared a video of herself in a skimpy bikini with a body-positive message.
