Nelson Resources develops clear model to guide future exploration

Nelson Resources Ltd (ASX:NES) continued developing its exploration model for various Woodline projects in the Goldfields region of WA during the March quarter and believes it now has a clear model to guide future programs.

Comprising the Redmill, Grindall, Harvey, Morris (application) and Socrates projects over 899 square kilometres, the Woodline projects lie over the reworked Archean margin adjacent to the Albany Fraser province.

A review has demonstrated the significance of the previous work that has been conducted whilst showing areas of improvement and opportunity.

Nelson took immediate steps to reduce operating costs during the COVID-19 pandemic and asked staff to work from home.

Most of the companys suppliers have assisted and ensured a positive outcome while the impacts of COVID-19 are ascertained.

Historic exploration has been minimal within the project area with Black Fire Minerals Limited (WAMEX) having conducted a soil auger geochemistry and limited aircore project in 2010 and 2011.

Nelson intends to re-evaluate the historical exploration work and look to conduct several targeted geophysics programs.

These programs will guide the planning of a drilling program designed to target the paleochannel and any other potenRead More – Source
