Cipherpoint (ASX:CPT) has accelerated its leadership in security and compliance for SharePoint, Office 365 and other Microsoft infrastructure with the opening of a corporate office in Helibronn, Germany, effective from February 5, 2020.
The company has also appointed Steven Blimm to the role of managing director for the European subsidiary.
In a letter to shareholders in December 2020, the company stated it would begin 2020 with the business well-placed to benefit from the regulatory landscape driving structural growth in Europe.
Executive chairman Ted Pretty said Bliim had relocated to Germany to take Cipherpoints success to Europe in order to mitigate risks in large European businesses that have Microsoft infrastructure footprints.
He said: “cp.Protect and cp.Discover have already proven technical and commercial qualities and will bring special functionality to the European SharePoint community.
“Steves experience and local presence will aid organisations to get exactly the solution they need more easily and quickly.”
