ServTech Global Holdings rolls out virtual reality training technology for oil & gas giant Bonatti

ServTech Global Holdings Ltd (ASX:SVT) has completed the initial roll-out of its FrameS Virtual Reality (VR) training solution for leading oil & gas international general contractor, Bonatti S.p.A.

FrameS VR training solution is an educational tool that provides personnel worksite inductions aimed at reducing injuries related to unsafe situations and man/machine interactions.

The roll-out was completed over a subset of more than 100 employees operating on the 365 square kilometre Trans Adriatic Pipeline project, connecting western and southeastern Europe to abundant new gas sources in the Caspian basin and beyond.

Evaluating for other divisions

Bonatti is also evaluating the introduction of the FrameS VR training solutions into its other divisions such as its pipeline and plant divisions and across its 9,000 employees worldwide.

The company registered a nil accident rate for the activities related to the FrameS VR training solution compared to a total recordable incident rate (TRIR) of 1.40 in 2018.
