Chase Mining Corporation about to drill at high-grade Alotta Nickel-Copper Project in Canada

Chase Mining Corporation Ltd (ASX:CML) is about to begin drilling at the high-grade Alotta Nickel-Copper Project in Quebec, Canada, with a drill rig mobilised to the site for a diamond drilling program.

This follows completion of a 321-metre deep diamond hole at the Lorraine project which tested two DHEM anomalies at Target 4.

The 7-hole, 735-metre Alotta program comprises four primary holes with planned undercut and uplift holes as warranted by results from the initial drilling.

Alotta Deeps an important target

An important target will be the Alotta Deeps below the currently delineated high-grade shallow mineralisation with the aim of extending the deposit.

Additional targets include both the extension to depth and uplift on a 2018 intersection of high-grade mineralisation in hole ZA-18-05 of 11.28 metres at 2.17% nickel, 2.15% copper, 2.94 g/t platinum group elements and 0.11% cobalt from 61.15 metres.
