Tempus Resources completes Zamora Projects acquisition in Ecuador and appoints new director
Tempus Resources Ltd (ASX:TMR) has completed the acquisition of the Zamora Projects in Ecuador adjacent to and within the same district as the world class Fruta del Norte gold project, currently under development by Lundin Gold Inc (TSE:LUG).
The Zamora Projects comprise the highly prospective Rio Zarza and Valle del Tigre projects.
Permitting for Tempus maiden drilling program in Ecuador is progressing well, with commencement of the initial drilling program scheduled for Q1, 2020.
Results are pending from a geochemical sampling program aimed at refining the existing planned drilling plan, and an airborne geophysical survey has been commissioned, which will commence in December 2019.
Mining industry veteran appointed to the board
Tempus has appointed Gary Artmont as a non-executive director.
Artmont is a senior exploration geologist with 40+ years of international experience from grassroots to project feasibility studies, in regions including Canada, USA, Mexico, South America, Indonesia, Africa, Russia, China and Mongolia.
