Core Lithium strengthens capabilities through appointment of Malcolm McComas as director

Core Lithium Ltd (ASX:CXO) has continued to strengthen capabilities and skills at management and board level through the appointment of Malcolm McComas as a non-executive director.

This appointment comes as the company moves toward the development and operations of the first Australian lithium project outside of WA – the Finniss project near Darwin in the Northern Territory.

McComas is an experienced company director, having worked in many growth companies in the resources sector over his career, and was previously an investment banker with leadership roles at several global organisations.

Previous experience

He was head of investment banking at County NatWest (now Citi Group) for 10 years and a director of Grant Samuel for a similar period.

Most recently, he was a director of BC Iron, the WA-based iron ore producer, as well as Consolidated Minerals, a global manganese company.
