With Ben Mitchells (Max Bowden) dodgy dealings having gone awry in EastEnders, he finds himself teaming-up with an adversary tonight in the form of Martin Fowler (James Bye) in order to rescue Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) from the clutches of the Panesar clan.
After learning of daughter Bexs (Jasmine Armfield) suicide attempt, Martin wasted little time in returning to Walford. During last nights episode, he made a promise to the young girl, telling her that he was home for good. Of course, moments later, he was confronted with arch-enemy Ben, as the two faced off across the Square.
In tonights episode, Martin sets about orchestrating a plan which would allow both him and Stacey (Lacey Turner) to return home permanently— and that means that he must pay Ben a visit.
Martin pleads with Ben to allow Stacey to return to Walford. However, as Ben contemplates Martins request, he receives a threatening phone call from Jags (Amar Adatia) — who reveals that hes kidnapped Lola.
