10 soap spoilers next week: Death in EastEnders, Coronation Street tragedy, Emmerdale fight, Hollyoaks trauma

The start of a new soap week is presenting lots of misery for us to absorb. As Sinead Tinkers (Katie McGlynn) already bleak situation gets even more tragic in Coronation Street due to some harrowing news, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is rocked by a death in EastEnders.

Over in Hollyoaks, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) contemplates the worst while everyone fears the end for Emmerdales Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) – and the situation gets even messier when Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) is arrested.

Sinead is told she has weeks to live in Coronation Street

Sinead is given the shattering news that she only has weeks to live and she is forced to confide in her family that she will soon die. Later, when alone with him, Sinead apologises to a broken Daniel that she has to leave him and Bertie.

Ben and Martin reach breaking point in EastEnders

Martin is back on the Square and he begs Ben to let Stacey come home. Ben agrees to hand the wrench over to Martin but only if he agrees to help him out with a job. But when things become more complicated, Ben retracts his promise and tensions rise, leading Martin to lash out.

One to watch: Friday 11th October at 8pm on BBC One.

Vanessa is arrested in Emmerdale

Kerry continues to fight for her life in hospital and Dan, Amy and Amelia anxiously wait for news while Tracy fears that she may have killed her. Later on, Kerrys condition takes a turn for the worse as doctors and nurses rush into her room. During an argument about everything that has happened, Vanessa lashes out when Amy threatens to blame Tracy to the police for Kerrys injuries and she accidentally hits a nurse. As Vanessa is arrested, Amy fears she will reveal the truth about the fire.

One to watch:

Norris and Emily celebrate with Ken in Coronation Street

Its Kens 80th and, despite his worries over Sinead, he is delighted when he arrives to see that Norris is a guest. And he gets another surprise when Emily contacts the party by Skype to give her best wishes.

James reaches the edge in Hollyoaks

James is broken in the wake of his discovery that Harry is dead and, on edge, he heads to the station to find out if they have any more news. Later on, Marnie, Romeo and Juliet are horrified to see him standing on the edge of a deadly drop…

Jean learns that Daniel has died in EastEnders

Jean and Daniel continue to spend time together and grow closer but Jean is later shattered to get the news that Daniel has died. Kush supports her as she attends Daniels memorial and she discusses her lost friend with his pal Mike.

Mandy pulls a scam in Emmerdale

Still desperate for money, Mandy learns that Lydia has been left some money and when her solicitor arrives, she pretends that she is Lydia. But when Lydia and Sam return during the meeting, will they discover what Mandy is up to?
