A familiar face is set to return to the cobbles tonight as Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell)s sister Debbie turns up to see him out of the blue.
Debbies not been seen in Weatherfield for quite some time, but shes there with some surprising news for Kevin as she informs him their Auntie Val has died and left her £200,000 – which she wants him to have.
The storyline ultimately sets things up for Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent)s exit from the soap – but just who is Debbie, when was she last seen in Corrie – and whos playing her?

Who is Kevins sister Debbie Webster in Coronation Street?
Debbie Webster first arrived in Weatherfield in 1984 with Kevin and their dad Bill, four years after their mother Alison had died of breast cancer.

The teenager was only in the show for a few months but made her mark with storylines which saw her leaving school without qualifications as well as being involved in a motorbike crash.
When was Debbie Webster last in Coronation Street?
She left with her dad in early 1985 after he married Elaine Prior and they all moved to Southampton – with Elaine offering Debbie a job at a new salon she was opening.
Although shes not been in the soap since then she has been referenced from time to time.
When Sophie Webster (Brooke Vincent) went missing in 2010 Kevin rang Debbie to see if she had turned up there, and she also called Kevin in 2011 to inform him she had bought a villa in Turkey and wanted him and his son Jack (Kyran Bowes) to visit.
Who plays Debbie Webster in Coronation Street?
The role is played by actress Sue Devaney, who previously played Debbie as a teenager when the character was first in the show in the 80s.
Sue, now 52, will be familiar to fans of Casualty, in which she played Liz Harker from 1994-1997, while shes also been in Dinnerladies, Shameless, Heartbeat, Jonny Briggs and River City.
