Who plays Jonno Highway on EastEnders?

Every soap opera has villains viewers love to hate and one of Eastenders is undeniably Jonno Highway.

The character appeared in summer as the dad of Stuart (Ricky Champ) and Callum Highway (Tony Clay), and soon revealed himself to be a bigot.

Its not long before he finds himself on the receiving end of Phil Mitchells (Steve McFadden) fist after the hardman decides he has had enough of Jonnos homophobic remarks.

Who plays Jonno Highway?

Jonno Highway is played by Richard Graham who is no stranger to British TV having appeared in dozen of soaps and dramas over the decades.

The 59-year-old notably played the lead role of DS Mickey Farrel in BBCs police drama Maisie Raine in the 90s.

He later starred in 16 episodes of Hollyoaks as Billy Alexander, who was introduced as a potential love interest for Carmel McQueen.

Richard has also had fleeting roles in Midsommer Murders, Silent Witness and The Bill.

In addition to TV, Richard has appeared in a number of blockbuster films in including James Camerons Titanic, in which he played Quartermaster George T. Rowe.

The actor has also appeared in Gangs of New York in a minor role as Harvey, a card player.
