He may have confused some of Post Malones fans at first when he appeared on the rappers track Take What You Want, but Ozzy Osbourne has shared how working on the hip-hop stars album saved him after a series of health scares.
Ozzy has spoken out about how working with Post Malone on his new album Hollywoods Bleeding saved him from his self-pity after recent health problems left him thinking he was dying.
The 70-year-old rock veteran has had quite a stressful year, fighting pneumonia in intensive care back in February and suffering a nasty fall that resulted in having 15 metal rods placed in his spine, but has said how collaborating with 24-year-old Post Malone on their single Take What You Want has helped him get back on track and led to him recording new material.

In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Ozzy said: Ive made a new album and its helped get me back on track.
I was just lying in my own self-pity for months. Its the greatest album Ive done.
Ozzy says he didnt know who Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, was until he asked him to feature on the track, but said recording the new songs with Posts producer Andrew Watt for his first LP since 2010s Scream got him back on his feet.
He continued: Id never even heard of this kid. He wanted me to sing on his song Take What You Want, so I did and then one thing led to another.
I started recording a new album with Post Malones producer Andrew Watt. Its only nine tracks but it was a catalyst to get me to where I am today.
Ozzy also admitted he felt like he was dying until the new music got him off [his] a**e.
He added: If it wasnt for making this record I would still be on traction, thinking, “Im going to be lying here for ever”. Ive missed music so badly. My fans are so loyal and so good. Up until making the album, I thought I was dying. But that got me off my a**e.

The Crazy Train musician also confessed hes out of touch with how the music industry works these days and struggles to get his head around streaming, adding that he mistakenly thought Spotify was… a skin condition.
He said: This is my first recording in a studio for 10 years, so I do feel a bit out of touch.
