Its not always easy being greenlit.
The Muppets revival series has been scrapped at Disney+ due to creative differences.
The six-part scripted comedy, called Muppets Live Another Day, was set to be penned by Frozens Josh Gad alongside Once Upon A Time creators Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis.
Rumours about the possible reboot began to circulate in February – however, it has now been ditched.
After a little over a year and a half of working on [the project], Adam, Eddy and I have decided, with a heavy heart, to walk away, Gad posted on Instagram.
Sometimes creative differences are just that.
Its not all bad news for Kermit and the gang, though. Muppets Now, an unscripted short-form series featuring celebrity guests, is still on target for a 2020 release.
Muppets Live Another Day, set in the 1980s was going to be Muppets by way of Stranger Things.

Picking up a year after the events of 1984 film The Muppets Take Manhattan and ending the present day, Gad said the show would subvert and comment on our current love for all things nostalgia.
Pitch Perfect and Avenue Qs Jason Moore was pegged to direct.
The series also would have featured next-level good music by married Oscar-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the duo behind The Book of Mormon and Frozen hit Let it Go.

The creative team are planning to stick together and cant wait to play again in other sandboxes.
Gad said: Adam, Eddy and I are already cooking up new fun ideas that we cant wait to share. Until then, long live The Muppets.
The Muppets – a portmanteau of puppet and marionette – were created by Jim Henson in the 1950s. Disney purchased the franchise rights from the Henson family in 2004.
