Downton Abbeys Lords and Ladies, Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery and Laura Carmichael celebrate premiere

The Downton Abbey cast dug out their finery for the worldwide premiere of the film adaptation, which hits cinemas on 13 September.

Michelle Dockery and Elizabeth McGovern could not stop smiling as they greeted each on the red carpet at the Cineworld Leicester Square in London.

Laura Carmichael also joined them, with the three ladies – known to fans as the matriarch of the family Cora Crawley, Countess of Grantham (McGovern), Lady Mary (Dockery) and Lady Edith (Carmichael) – posing for pictures along with Hugh Bonneville, who stars as Lord Grantham, and Allen Leech, also known as Tom Branson.

Allen and his wife Jessica used the premiere of the movie adaptation to confirm they are expecting a baby.

Jessica proudly cradled her bump on the red carpet in a stunning gold gown, and she couldnt keep the smile off her face as she posed with Allen.
