A five-year-old boy who was thrown from the third floor of one of Americas biggest malls has finally recovered enough to return home.

Landen Hoffmans family said that the boy has completed rehabilitation and has returned home after months of recovery.

The family wrote on their GoFundMe page that Landen is entering the next phase of recovery, which includes continued outpatient rehabilitation for multiple injuries and adjusting to life back hom and school.

They continued: Thank you to all of you who prayed for us and loved us during the last 4 ½ months.

Landen suffered devastating injuries after Emmanuel Aranda, 24, threw him approximately 40 feet onto a marble floor at the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, on April 12.
