Back in May, Slash spoke to Detroits 101 WRIF radio station and said: At this point, I do know that we are gonna do this run [of autumn gigs], and weve already started working on stuff. So, there you go.

The band, best known for their smash Sweet Child O Mine, sent fans into a meltdown when they announced they will be hitting the Louder Than Life festival this month.

And ahead of the gig, Slash has opened up about reuniting with the November Rain singers as they kicked off their Not In This Lifetime world tour, after spending more than 20 years out of the band.

When asked how it felt to be reunited with the group for the first time in over two decades, he revealed: It was overwhelming – it was so cool.

Because it was a long time – were talking more than 20 years from the last show in 1994… it was 22 years since the last time wed played together. And obviously Id played with Duff [since then] but theres a certain dynamic in the three of us together.
