Taylor Swift lands record-breaking fourth UK Number 1 album

Taylor Swift has even more cause for celebration this week after securing her fourth UK number one album.

The 29-year-olds seventh studio album Lover knocked her old friend Ed Sheeran off the top spot with his No.6 Collaborations Project, after Taylors album was bought 35,000 times and racked up an impressive 27 million track streams.

Lover joins Taylors previous UK number one albums Red, 1989 and Reputation, making her the only female artist to top the list as many times this decade. You go girl!

Fans have been obsessing over the lyrics to Taylors new music ever since it dropped last week, paying particular attention to the songs which reference her notably private relationship with British actor Joe Alwyn.

The star of The Favourite is the subject of London Boy, a song which namechecks a number of popular (and erm, less popular) London landmarks.

Sorry, Swifties!
