Jason Momoa threatens bulldozer injury may halt Aquaman 2 as he protests Hawaii construction
Jason Momoa has insisted he is no longer available to shoot Aquaman 2 because he is protesting the desecration of native Hawaiian land.
Which is arguably the most solid reason for not shooting a film weve ever heard.
Jason was born in Honolulu on Hawaii and his father is of Native Hawaiian ancestry and he has now taken to Instagram to reveal that enough is enough and that he would be willing to be run over by a bulldozer for the cause.
F**K THIS. And TMT is 4x bigger. Sorry Warner Bros we cant shoot Aquaman 2. Because Jason got run over by a bulldozer trying to stop the desecration of his native land THIS iS NOT HAPPENING. WE ARE NOT LETTING YOU DO THIS ANYMORE, he shared.
Enough is enough. Go somewhere else. Repost. This is what telescope construction looks like (Subaru Telescope, 1992).

The TMT will be four times larger on unscathed land. We must protect our scared mountain from further desecration. #KuKiaiMauna #WeAreMaunaKea #TMTShutdown.
The picture shows the construction site at Mauna Kea in 1992 when the Subaru Telescope was being built.
The proposed structure of a Thirty Meter Telescope has caused huge uproar due to the location and the damage that construction will cause; Mauna Kea is already home to 13 observatories.
Protestors have blocked access to the site for over three weeks, and Kealoha Pisciotta, a protest leader, during a press conference on 18 July: We have always been here and we will always be here.
Aquaman 2 was confimed in February and has a release date of 20 Decmeber 2022 but there has been no indiction of when Jasons shooting schedule may begin – or how these protests may affect the studio.
