Lukaku not named in Man United touring squad amid impending exit
Cape Town – Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has not been included in Manchester United's 26-man travelling squad to Norway as he nears a transfer to Italy.
Lukaku failed to make the squad as Ole Gunnar Solksjaer's side face a pre-season friendly against Norwegian side Kristiansund.
Inter Milan are reportedly working on an improved deal for Lukaku after seeing their initial proposal knocked back by the Red Devils.
Just two years after arriving from Everton in an initial £75 million deal, the 26-year-old is understood to be welcoming interest from the Serie A giants. Juventus have also reportedly stepped into the race for his signature and are offering a deal that could include Argentinian attacker Paulo Dybala.
Antonio Conte's side met United for discussions, but it's understood that Inter has been struggling to fund a deal for the Belgium international.
The striker recently dropped a hint regarding his future when he posted a picture with his agent with the picture captioned "soon to be continued".
