With San Diego Comic-Con bring us the absolute goods with the fourth phase of the Marvel films, one MCU fan believes weve been given some pretty epic clues as to the emergence of the Dark Avengers.
Now the Infinity Saga is done, one Redditer believes the next age is among us, with the likes of Black Widow receiving her spin off and leading the ship towards the new frontier.
Along with fresh Captain America, female Thor in Natalie Portman and Eternals, theres a lot to work with here but their theory is mighty interesting.
But is it on the money?
In the comics the Dark Avengers are a group formed by Norman Osborn in the aftermath of the Skrull invasion.
Published not too long ago in 2009, Shield reforms as Hammer and recruits a bunch of peeps to form a new Avengers crew.

Now Reddit user and Marvel fan u/theincredibleshaq has put together a pretty in depth look at how they believe the next batch of Marvel heroes might indeed be the Dark Avengers.
I believe that the upcoming MCU movies is setting up a group of villains that are alternate versions of the original 6 Avengers, they began, before citing the likes of Black Widows next movie leading the charge in introducing them.
This weekend, Marvel revealed that David Harbour will play Alexi Shostakov (Red Guardian) and Florance Pugh will play Yelena Belova in the first Phase Four movie starring Scarlett Johansson, they wrote online.
With early footage showing Yelena and Natasha having a contentious relationship, the fan points out that she could be an excellent candidate for the Dark Black Widow.
However that was far from the end, as they continued onto Captain America – of the Russian nature.
The Black Widow movie is also introducing a Russian Captain America known as Red Guardian player by David Harbour, they continued. Having a significant portion of the Dark Avengers be Russian would provide a reason for a reverence for Red Guardian similar to Captain Americas.

I believe that the evil Cap will most likely be him, with a small chance of the evil Cap being any various evil Caps from the comics being introduced in Falcon and the Winter Soldiers series such as US Agent.
The theorist went through other big Marvel Cinematic Universe hitters including Hawkeye and Hulk, as well as Iron Man, saying Justin Hammer is a likely candidate for Dark Iron Man.
When it came to Thor, they felt it was a little tougher to predict an evil Thor.
Fair. Hes quite pure.
They still gave it a shot though: Any of the upcoming movies outside of the Black Widow movie could plausible introduce an evil Thor.
Eternals is introducing a pantheon of gods who could have one take the role, and fill the ethereal, mysterious, and powerful role that Thor does. Shang Chi will introduce some high level magic, and could have a magical character mimic Thor.
Dr Strange 2 will deal with the multiverse and more high magic level characters. And Thor 4 could easily have an evil alternate Thor, especially if they dip into the multiverse to justify Jane Thor. Or they could even make Jane Thor evil as a twist, no idea how that would work but itd be cool imo.
