Avengers: Endgame may have been a flawless movie for some, but Thanos creator Jim Starlin has revealed theres one thing he just cant forgive the Russo Brothers for.

Uh oh.

The artist, who was the brains behind the Mad Titan (Josh Brolin), explained that he did actually like Endgame more than Infinity War.

However, he wasnt best pleased with Thanos choice of weapon.

The one thing they did and I will never forgive the Russos and [writers] Markus and McFeely was they brought that weapon he had in, which is inspired from the Thanos helicopter which most everybody had almost forgot all about, he told Digital Spy at San Diego Comic Con.

Originally, the ThanosCopter was created by Larry Lieber for some kids books called Spidey Super Stories. Thanos was running around robbing banks with the name Thanos written on the side of his copter which always struck me as a little strange all by itself.

But I tried to ignore it and I thought people had forgot about it, but they stuck it in the movie. I had a couple of writers credit me with creating it and Im like, “No, it wasnt me.”

All of the secrets surrounding the Mad Titan are being spilled this weekend, as it was revealed that Avengers: Endgame originally saw Captain America being decapitated by him.

Sorry, what?

The films writers revealed at San Diego Comic Con that an early iteration of Endgame saw Captain America (Chris Evans) beheaded by Thanos – just in case Black Widow and Iron Mans deaths werent shocking enough for you.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely made the morbid confession, revealing that one version of the script would see Caps head being chopped off during the time travel segment of the movie, when Thanos gained access to the Avengers portal.

Markus said: We were working on different ways to bring Thanos into the present day because we had killed the present-day Thanos but we had activated the past-Thanos.

He, being Thanos, knowing it would take Nebula some time to rejigger the time machine. He went down to his present-day Earth which would be 2014 and wiped it out, and killed the Avengers.

And then, Nebula would turn on the time machine, he would walk through with the Avenger he had killed and go, “I killed you, again, what are you gonna do about it?”
