Cape Town – Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker, Marc Batchelor, was shot dead on Monday evening in what appears to be a hit.
According to Soccer Laduma, Batchelor was shot and killed in a car in Olivedale, Johanneburg.
Police confirmed the news that Batchelor had died at the scene and that nothing was taken from his vehicle. They are investigating further.
